Membership
The COVID-19 pandemic exposed deep inequities in access to vaccines and biotherapeutics. Expanding manufacturing capacity in low- and middle-income countries is essential to change that.
Why join
During the pandemic, high-income countries secured most of the early vaccine supply while LMICs waited. Equity in access depends on distributed production: manufacturers in Asia, Africa and Latin America with the capacity, partnerships and regulatory pathways to supply their own regions.
EBPMN members gain sector intelligence, visibility with partners and funders, preferential access to events, and a collective voice in regional and global policy discussions.
Membership criteria
- 1Be active in the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.
- 2Be active in research and development and/or clinical development in LMICs.
- 3If publicly owned, be headquartered in an LMIC.
- 4If privately owned, have the majority of shares held by an entity headquartered in an LMIC.
