Emerging Biopharmaceuticals Manufacturers Network (EBPMN)
Biopharmaceuticals offer a powerful way to improve healthcare in developing countries. Biosimilars, in particular, are emerging as essential tools in global health.
The network has active members from countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.

Who are we
An alliance of manufacturers from emerging economies
EBPMN is an alliance of biopharmaceutical manufacturers from emerging economies that focuses on enabling capacity building for biologics and biosimilars that remain largely out of reach for populations in LMICs. The network has active members from countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Our Vision
The network aspires to become a recognized global platform for public-private collaborations between emerging biopharmaceutical manufacturers in LMICs and global organizations, government and non-governmental bodies, academic institutions, and biotech entities.
What we do
EBPMN provides its members with up-to-date information on new developments in biotherapeutics, specifically biosimilars — strategic, scientific, technological, and commercial developments and opportunities — with a focus on product development partnerships (PDPs), including joint development, commercialization, and technology transfer.
Functions
How the network works
Bring together scientists, regulators, investors and policymakers with member companies through working groups, webinars and in-person forums.
Represent the perspective of emerging manufacturers in regional and global forums — ICH, WHO, PAHO and the BRICS Health Working Group — on regulation, procurement and access.
Showcase members' biosimilars, vaccines and technology platforms to potential licensing, distribution and co-development partners.
Document and disseminate cases of technology transfer, local production and market access that other LMIC manufacturers can learn from.
